About the role
A critical role for AIG Australia, with responsibility for leading key national partnerships and working with the General Manager for NSW/ACT in respect of execution of our regional distribution strategy.
What you need to know:
- You will be responsible for management of national and regional key partnerships, developing strategic partnering as aligned to our growth aspiration.
- You will work in collaboration with the broader CBE team, Underwriting and Claims teams.
- You will work closely with the NSW/ACT GM and key stakeholders to drive local strategy and execution of key national initiatives.
- You will work closely with the broader CBE team to ensure consistency in addition to sharing best practise and innovation.
- You will bring a strong client and digital practise lens
- You will be able to work with key business partners, operating within critical strategic frameworks and principals to ensure governance and profitability business success.
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated insurance experience with tertiary qualifications preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven insurance business development background
- Depth of SME including digital knowledge and experience preferred
- Ability to manage within a matrix management structure
- Existing broker and client relationships preferred
- Knowledge of AIG products/services/systems preferred however not essential
- Demonstrable strategic planning, execution and organisational partnering capability
