**Your new role**
The role of the Strategic Partnerships Manager is to develop and foster profitable and mutually beneficial partnerships with corporate organisations to ensure the efficient implementation and ongoing growth of the organizations’ high profile activities including Business Awards Programmes. This could be in the form of annual partnerships, advertising and sponsorship of events.
The Strategic Partnerships Manager will develop a sales pipeline for conversion and work collaboratively with business development managers in the region. This role will also provide strategic market intelligence to the Policy and Advocacy team gained from discussions with corporate businesses for the ongoing development of policy agendas.
Key Responsibilities are:
- Developing and implementing a coordinated, integrated and relationship-based partnership strategy for the corporate sector
- Maintaining relationships while generating increased income from new and or existing corporate sponsors
- Identifying and researching potential new income opportunities and new partners
- Developing tailored proposals and documents that reflect the company and opportunities for sponsors
- Developing the budget for sponsors and tracking its progress
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications and recognised prior business experience
- Extensive relevant experience in a sponsorship/partnership environment
- The ability to develop and foster diverse relationships with varied and multiple stakeholders
- Confidence to conduct business meetings and to liaise effectively with personnel at all levels, internally and externally
- Ability to work in a small team, while still showing initiative and meeting individual deadlines and KPI's
- Results driven and oriented with proven track record
- Demonstrated business development, commercial and account management skills/experience (business acumen).
- Passion for engaging business and seeking innovative solutions
- Understanding of the business environment in NSW and Australia
