Kingston Human Capital has been engaged by one of Queensland’s leading Government Departments to assist in sourcing a highly motivated and proactive **Iteration Manager** to join their team.

As the **Iteration Manager**, you will:

- Serve as an Iteration Manager for cross-functional teams, providing guidance and coaching on agile principles and practices.
- Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities, and facilitate a single agreed plan for milestone delivery.
- Align and focus the team on milestone delivery, identifying and managing risks and impediments.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and information flow.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, working with product owners to define and refine user stories, backlog items, and acceptance criteria.
- Track and report on project progress, addressing impediments to ensure successful and on-time delivery.
- Work with product owners and business stakeholders to prioritize project requirements and scope.
- Implement and enforce agile practices and methods designed for the Program.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and high performance.

**About you**
- Strong understanding of agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools such as DevOps.
