Iteration Manager

**About the Role**
A newly created opportunity currently exists to join BOQ’s Group Process Optimisation team which has been recently established to optimise group process maturity and performance to enable more efficient and effective ways of working.

This role will be responsible for leading the delivery of organisational initiatives in the Group Ops Hub, aligned to strategic enterprise objectives. The role is accountable for project discovery, contribution to business case development and final delivery of features using a delivery approach best suited to the practices of implementation partners, organisational methodology and required deliverables.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, costs and delivery timelines, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to backlog prioritisation with Product Owners and/or Head of Process Optimisation
- Collaborating with the Product Owner and/or Head of Process Optimisation to identify and manage stakeholders, understand stakeholder interests, and ensure that impacted stakeholders have a common understanding of new features or changes introduced by the solution.
- Management of changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
- Manage and track sprint progress against budgeted hours and schedule. Maintain sprint flow by removing blockers and bottlenecks, recommending solutions and resolving more complicated project issues.
- Management of stakeholders & stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle, including regular formal report outs
- Facilitation of planning, estimation, standups, showcases and retrospectives ensuring that activities are time-boxed and artefacts are visible to the team through visualisation techniques and tools.
- Initiate, develop and maintain strong and effective internal and external networks that are relevant to meeting the completion of projects.

**About you**
- Demonstrable agile project deliver experience (> 3 years) with a technology, or Process focus from requirements gathering, build and test through to implementation.
- A minimum of 3 years Project delivery experience.
- A strong background in implementing and driving agile practices within the Banking industry.
- Banking customer origination and servicing process improvement experience desired but not essential
- Ability to indirectly influence outcomes.
