With a focus on innovation and employee well-being, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Manager to lead the payroll team. As a Payroll Manager you will lead a dedicated team of three payroll professionals and play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all payroll processes. With the impending implementation of a new system late next year, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to this transition and drive excellence in payroll management. **Main Responsibilities**: - Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of three payroll staff to ensure seamless and accurate payroll processing. - Oversee end-to-end payroll functions, including processing, reconciliations, and compliance with relevant legislation. - Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. - Take the lead in the upcoming implementation of a new payroll system, contributing valuable insights to ensure a smooth transition. - Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. - Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve payroll processes. **What you need to be successful**: - Proven experience as a Payroll Manager ideally within banking, finance or insurance - In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation. - Experience with Preceda is highly desirable; exposure to system implementation is a significant advantage. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with excellent organisational and time-management skills. - Ability to adapt to change and drive process improvements. **Benefits**: - Competitive salary package. - Health and wellness programs. - Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
