The Company

Our client, a retail business based in North Sydney area, is currently looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team. This is an ongoing temporary contract, could go permanent for the right person.

The Role

**Your Profile**
- Co-ordinate weekly payroll runs with outsourced payroll provider.
- Co-ordinate monthly payroll runs with outsourced payroll provider.
- First point of contact for payroll related questions from the team.
- Key co-ordination point on all payroll related matters with the Group's HR team.
- Reconciliation of all payroll related balance sheet accounts - Provisions for Annual Leave, Long Service Leave and Bonuses (STI).
- Management, tracking and reporting of head count data for the ANZ and Corporate Business Units.
- Analysis and insights on payroll and head count to feed into monthly management reporting, as well as forecasting and budgeting.
- Key contributor into the quarterly forecasting and budgeting cycles - costing of head count changes and overall payroll costs to feed into these processes for the Corporate Business Unit cost centres.
- Control and management of all compliance related functions for payroll - including payroll tax, workers compensation insurance, etc. This includes reconciliations and accurate returns lodged in a timely manner. Payments made in a timely manner relating to these.
- Any other projects and ad hoc tasks as requested.

- Strong Excel skills
- Big ERP system experience
- High attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
