The Salvation Army's Moneycare service offers free, professional and confidential financial counselling and financial literacy/capability services, in line with The Salvation Army’s mission and values, to people from all walks of life. Moneycare exists to help people get through challenging times in their lives and help them establish themselves as best as possible for the future.
We have an exciting opportunity for a values driven and proactive National Moneycare Manager, reporting to the General Manager Community Services. This role is instrumental in leading, developing and managing service delivery, operations, and people of Moneycare across Australia.
You will successfully
- Lead the planning and development of the national Moneycare service offering, practice frameworks, service delivery models and processes
- Oversee and be accountable for management of all services nationally including financial counselling, financial capability, financial literacy, financial inclusion, disaster recovery, intake and digital services.
- Lead and develop a national team of Moneycare managers across Australia
- Ensure services are inclusive, accessible, and responsive for our diverse community members
- Ensure services are relational, strengths based, missional and holistic
- Ensure professional body and regulatory bodies requirements are met
- Evaluate service delivery through outcomes measurement, collection and analysis of service delivery data and feedback
- Build, maintain and evaluate collaborative relationships with external and internal partners
- Ensure collaboration with other Salvation Army services and ministries
You will have
- Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field OR demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service and study/development
- Relevant experience and active membership in high level community, government or other bodies within the sector.
- Experience in and a good knowledge of financial counselling, financial inclusion, financial capability, and related services
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
