ABOUT THE ROLE

The national finance team in Redfern are looking to recruit a National Revenue Billings & Collections Officer for 3 month max term contract role. You who will be responsible for providing the Revenue Accounting Processes for the organisation. The role requires close interaction with the broader Teams of the organisation, enabling the organisation to achieve effective Billings, Collections & Receipting functions.

Reporting to the National Revenue Credit Controller, you will be a part of a dynamic team with an accountability and ownership in responsibility to maintain customer relationships, manage billings & invoicing, customer reconciliations, and TSA Collections, supporting the National Revenue Credit Controller and Revenue Accounting team to maintain and manage transparent and accountable revenue financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Retired Officers & Property debtors portfolio account processes and drive continual improvement initiatives
- Participate in the development, continuance and implementation of effective systems and processes for managing Billings & Collections across the Retired Officers & Property Portfolio’s
- Owning ETL development, updates, and enhancements through Tech1 technologies
- Support service improvement activity across the TSA business through identifying process through innovative thinking
- Work collaboratively with managers, Business Partners & Personnel Officers to determine priorities and develop integrated solutions that deliver key outcomes
- Understand complex billing processes and effectively resolve complex customer enquiries and manage monthly Aged Trial Balance reporting and Collection analysis

ABOUT YOU
- A degree in a relevant discipline (i.e, Commerce or Accounting) Qualification desirable
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience in similar roles
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge across Billings & Collections automation best practices
- Proven experience in engaging with and managing the expectations of stakeholder groups at all levels
- Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Technology One system experience preferred.
