Sydney, AU**The Project**:
John Holland, CPB Contractors and Ghella will soon commence design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package.
With a contract worth $1.63 billion, the Eastern Tunnelling Package includes construction of 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD, and the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations. Starting at The Bays, tunnel boring machines will cross the harbour near the Anzac Bridge, before heading to the new Pyrmont station and then under Darling Harbour before reaching Hunter Street in the heart of the CBD.
This is the final piece in the puzzle to deliver the city-shaping Sydney Metro West project.
Once completed, Sydney Metro West will double rail capacity between greater Paramatta and the Sydney CBD, with travel times of around 20 minutes between the two centres.
**The role**:
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, you will be responsible for completing all administrative tasks whilst building strong relationships to support and foster an effective and seamless onboarding process.
- Supporting the HR Team with the booking and organising of pre-employment checks
- Ensuring all pre-employment paperwork is completed in accordance with both client and business requirements.
- Liaising with both our existing and onboarding workforce, ensuring a high degree of professionalism.
- Collect all onboarding documentation
- Updating personnel records.
- Assisting with any other required administrative tasks
**Skill and Experience**:
- Qualification in Office Administration or Human Resources is desirable.
- Exposure to full cycle recruitment within the construction industry will be highly regarded.
- Experience as an Administrator within a busy office environment.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong time management and a flexible approach to prioritise work.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
