**About the role**:
Reporting to the Executive, Corporate Banking as the Head of Corporate NSW and ACT, you will hold responsibility for the overall performance of NAB Corporate Banking in the state including driving the strategy, growth and profitability of the business. By leveraging your leadership skills, you will lead a team of 13 FTE to build world-class customer relationships that identify new business opportunities for both new and existing customers and provide relevant customer insights.

**Key Responsibilities will include the following**:

- Overall accountability for building customer advocacy through delivery of world class customer relationships
- Accountable for financial performance, asset quality and total client return in NSW/ACT
- Lead, Coach and Mentor team members to build a high performing team and deliver top quartile engagement
- Contribute to overall Performance Unit and divisional strategic initiatives
- Jointly accountable with Client Management & Execution for the credit risk quality in NSW/ACT
- Pro-active management of conduct, financial crime, operational and compliance risk

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Post graduate professional qualifications (CA, CPA, MBA) combined with extensive experience in Business, Corporate or Institutional Banking
- Demonstrated customer relationship management and people leadership experience as well as a detailed understanding of the bank’s products and services
- Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the function and business
- Proven track record of managing customer relationships and driving customer advocacy, to deliver revenue and financial outperformance
- Experience of leading a highly performing team through effective coaching, developing and retention of talent
- Strong ability to network both internally and externally, with advanced collaboration, relationship and communication skills
