**Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role?**

This is a rewarding community-based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support. We are seeking a Permanent Part-Time Support Worker (50 hours per fortnight) to provide support to our customers located on the southside of Brisbane.

Hours of work for a Support Worker are typically performed between 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday. For your set fortnightly roster, we invite you to share your availability and hours you would prefer to work. There may also be the opportunity to gain additional hours depending on your availability and our operational requirements.

The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks.

For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold a valid Driver's Licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. A National Police Check and CPR and First Aid certificates are required in this position, and you will need to have the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
