The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will join our existing Commercial Operations team and ensure we deliver great food and customer service to the Defence personnel and their families based in Woomera.
This opportunity will see you working and living in Woomera.
There are future opportunities for a possible DIDO roster, 14 days on / 7 days off.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Supervise, coordinate, and train Food & Beverage team members to ensure the delivery of high-performance bar operations across one or multiple bars within the ELDO hotel.
- Prepare weekly roster.
- Assist with maintaining employee records and timesheets.
- Performance manage Food & Beverage team members including creating and communicating clear performance expectations, monitoring work performance, and providing specific performance feedback to encourage and/or correct work performance.
- Monitor inventory and liaise with the Hotel & Retail manager to anticipate stock requirements across all bars within the ELDO hotel.
- Ensure a high standard or patron care including welcoming customers to the hotel, responding to customer requests in a timely and respectful manner, making customers aware of other services and facilities within Woomera.

About you
- HACCP Level 3.
- First Aid.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
- Food Handlers Certificate Level 1 or equivalent.
- 3-5 years supervision in hospitality & catering.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
