The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Data Coordinator (BreastScreen) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Undertake the data entry of assessment clinic data, letters, outcomes, and data change activities
- Assist in roster as required with tasks such as clinical support, medical dictation, client outcome letters and assessment clinic set up
- Produce reports and provide interval reporting and recommendations to the service as required by the Service and Data Manager
- Provide training and support to Service staff responsible for data entry
- Develop and maintain the Quality Assurance Program for the management, collection, collation and utilisation of data

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- While not mandatory, previous experience in BreastScreen Queensland data bases would be highly regarded.
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary full time (nine months, with the possibility of extension)
- Base salary ranging from $3250.20 - $3580.80 per fortnight

About Us
BreastScreen operates within the guidelines of the BreastScreen Australia and BreastScreen Queensland programs. These programs are funded through Commonwealth and State funding to provide a free population based mammography screening and assessment service to women over 40 years of age.
BreastScreen seeks to provide a professional service to women employing state of the art equipment and providing high level training for all staff members. Staff are required to operate as part of a multidisciplinary team with a philosophy of excellence.
The service operates as a service provided by the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service and is located in Southport with additional satellite sites and mobile services. The service screens more than 33,000 women annually across the Gold Coast.
