
Wellbeing Coordinator

In this role you will be required to contribute as a district representative to a regional employee wellbeing network with the focus being on coordinating and promoting proactive improvement initiatives, including risk reduction strategies and remedial interventions.

**The Core Capability Requirements for this role are**:
- Work collaboratively to develop and coordinate wellbeing initiatives, to assist leaders to foster and encourage a healthy workplace for all staff.
- Contribute to an agency wide employee wellbeing network focused on coordinating and promoting proactive improvement initiatives, including risk reduction strategies and remedial interventions.
- Research specific areas of identified risks, trends or emerging trends in psychological data to guide leaders to prevent and promote early identification to improve physical, social and mental wellbeing.
- Link key services across QPS with frontline management to provide leaders with referral program information and best practice support for impacted employees.
- Ensure the successful coordination of the Peer Support Network within the Region, ensuring best practice and consistency to the way Peer Support Officers are recruited, trained and supported using an integrated all of agency approach.
- Facilitate systems of governance and performance measures to maintain strategic alignment and compliance with relevant policies, legislation, regulations and operational procedures.
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships as an essential resource point within the region, offering expert wellbeing advice to members and leadership.
**Role Requirements**:
Qualification
- Although not mandatory, qualifications in the area of employee wellbeing (or relevant quals), would be highly regarded.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational Experience
- Knowledge and experience in the area of employee wellbeing (or relevant experience) would be highly regarded.
