Description:
Purpose

The Learning and Development (L&D) advisor role is critical to the success of the CoAct Member training strategy and responsible for creating industry leading learning materials for members in a variety of formats which may include blog posts, infographics, videos and eLearning packages. This role will primarily support a project which is the design, development, and implementation of a leadership program.

Some of the responsibilities include:
Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from within CoAct and the wider membership to document best practice and to develop relevant, industry-specific training materials.
Research required training areas using all available media (e.g. Government Deeds/guidelines, white papers, books, SMEs).
Research and understand: Paradigms, theories and models that underpin effective adult learning, group behaviour and learning culture.
Coordinate training delivery to ensure participants are provided with an exceptional experience.
The collection of data and information, both qualitative and quantitative, to analyse learning needs, implement effective delivery and measure outcomes and impact.
Work with other CoAct operations departments (e.g. Quality and Assurance, Performance and Strategy) to create articles on a variety of relevant topics are available for publication on the Turning Point Weekly update.
Oversee the tracking and reporting on e-learning completions using LMS.
Design high quality, customer-center digital learning experiences and resources for CoActs L&D Framework.
Ensure that learning activities, products and services are consistent with CoActs requirements and statutory/regulatory obligations.

Skills and Experiences:

Required Experience

At least 2 years in instructional design, learning & development advisory role or similar.
Working knowledge of articulate 360 preferred.
Multimedia development experience.
eLearning instructional design experience.
Understand change management methodologies and the principles of project management.

Desirable Experience

Experience within the Employment Services industry.
Designing and developing leadership training programs.
