The Account Manager - Team Lead, is responsible for managing key growers as well as a team of Account Managers overseeing our grower regions to maintain relationships and increase market share for Namoi Cotton.
The position will lead applicable regional Account Managers and relative administrative functions to support the consistent rollout of business strategy and initiatives. The role is responsible for providing coaching and mentorship to direct reports to assist the Customer Engagement Team in achieving consistent outcomes in line with strategic objectives.
The incumbent will utilise entrepreneurial spirit and vision to direct business activities to ensure the organisation is maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and assist meeting business objectives.
**The Position**:
- Senior key contact for grower clients within the area for their ginning and marketing needs
- To secure long term contracts with grower clients and negotiate commercial terms
- Assist with developing and implementing growth strategies
- Improve revenue through contracting and maintaining margins
- Research and identify growth opportunities
- Maximise revenue from Ginning and Marketing
- Uphold and promote Namoi Cotton’s organisational values.
- Manage customer relationships
- Be actively involved in the local Cotton Growers Association and the local cotton growing community in general
- Assist with developing and implementing detailed Marketing Plans for the Region
- Be accountable for own personal performance and take ownership of individual Customer Portfolio and of its performance
- Remain focussed on your individual KRA’s and achieving the KPI’s
**The Person**:
- Be a proactive and positive leader
- Experience in managing grower relationships and grower services
- Experience in negotiating long term grower contracts
- Exposure to developing and implementing detailed Marketing Plans
- Sales or marketing experience at a grower level
- Commercial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management
- Undergraduate Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or related degree
- Experience in the cotton industry with a sound understanding of the cotton production cycle or similar commodity
Remuneration package will be negotiated based on your knowledge, skills and experience.
