Our client, a reputable Civil construction company is looking for a Civil Construction Supervisor to join their a family owned civil construction company to lead the completion of projects around the South Brisbane area. Offering a range of services and completing various projects in the industrial subdivision, storm water, sewer, TMR, bulk earthworks and environmental remediation sectors of the civil construction industry.

**Your new role**

In your new role, you will be working directly with the director and project engineer, focusing on the coordination and supervision of construction activities, safety, quality, environment, community, financial tracking. You will be an experienced, competent and confident leader with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders including: clients, project engineers, civil teams and subcontractors.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Supervising and managing a team and subcontractors
- Handling WHS responsibilities.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Working towards targeted budgets and timelines.
- Leading and maintaining culture of safety and productivity.
- Conduct Toolbox talks and prestart meetings.
- Working knowledge of plant capability and appropriate selection for required tasks.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- You need to have 5+ years' experience in a civil supervisor role.
- Civils, roads and bulk earthworks experience.
- Be able to lead and motivate a civil team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Relevant qualifications including construction white card.
