An exciting opportunity exists for 2 x Principal Project Advisers on an Ongoing and Fixed-term basis in the Commercial Development Unit
The Commercial Development Unit undertakes commercial, financial and policy analysis housing projects in order to meet project assurance requirements and secure funding release. It cultivates key relationships and legal arrangements to ensure that proposed projects deliver on stakeholders' expectations. It leads project-level business case development as well as program level policy analysis, assurance frameworks and strategic leadership across Homes Victoria. It works across Homes Victoria to resolve policy, programmatic and strategic issues related to the above responsibilities.
The Principal Project Advisers will work alongside a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to social and affordable housing for Victorians as part of the $5 billion Big Housing Build. This include ensuring that projects fulfil assurance requirements through the delivery of robust and well resolved business cases, analysis of program and project data and issues and working with stakeholders to realise project, policy and strategic opportunities.

Other mandatory qualifications or requirements for this opportunity include:

- Relevant experience and understanding of the requirements related to the development, analysis, and approval of infrastructure projects including in relation to project and program business cases, project governance and assurance frameworks, and policy and strategic issues.
- Experience and/or qualifications in public policy, government, commerce, law, finance, economics and/or consulting.
- Capabilities and experience in gathering, analysing, communicating and representing data.
