**The role**:

- Contract role starting immediately.
- Contract length: ongoing
- Weekly hours: minimum 8-16 hours per week
- Expected Start Date: ASAP
- Work requirement**:work on-site only**

**NOTE: Your performance will be assessed regularly and determine the continuation of the contract.**

Work with managers/ clients on:

- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll
- Superannuation
- Bank reconciliations
- Banking
- Collect and summarize timekeeping information
- Obtain supervisory approval of timesheet discrepancies
- Recording financial transactions in bookkeeping software spreadsheets or databases
- Preparing and sending invoices and receipts to debtors
- Checking figures and reporting any irregularities in data to management
- Producing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
- **Experience required**:

- Previous bookkeeping experience (min 2 years)
- Proficient in **Xero - 2 years (required)** and Excel **(Ideally Dext software also)**:

- Experience in preparing BAS (preferred)
- Solid bookkeeping knowledge.
- **Personality required**:

- High level of common sense, can-do attitude
- Attention to detail
- Good presentation, self-discipline, well organised
- Prompt communication with consistency
- Take responsibility for own work, be result-focused
- Positive and problem-solving attitude
- Willingness to learn, adapt to changes, genuine commitment in the work assigned.
- **Remuneration**:Hourly rate $30 - $35 per hour depending on experience and performance** and opportunity for a long-term contractual job offer.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
