**The role**

You will be researching current affairs and industry challenges, gaining exposure to some of Australia’s most significant sectors including Government, Aged Care, Leadership, Social Services and more. Using your relationship-building and influencing skills, you will form relationships with relevant sector stakeholders and groups to support and maximise the success, reach and impact of our events.

**You will be responsible for**:
You will oversee and be responsible for the research and development of commercially successful hybrid conferences, from start to finish. You will work collaboratively with other teams while project managing your event in the market. As a Conference Producer, you will also lead in-depth market research to identify future event topics.

**What do you need to join the team?**
- A degree in Communications, International Relations, Marketing, Political Science, Social Inquiry or other relevant degree
- 1-2 years experience in a conference production role, desirable
- Prior experience conducting research or demonstrated ability to research, understand and analyse current affairs
- Curiosity and interest in current affairs
- Prior experience in creating and delivering high-quality copy or written work
- Ability to negotiate, influence and persuade key decision-makers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Readiness to join a fast-paced, high-performance team
- Problem-solving skills, maintaining focus and calm under pressure

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Conference Production: 2 years (preferred)
- Events management: 2 years (preferred)
- market research: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Sydney, NSW 2000: Relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
