**Du Cane Brewing - Purpose**:
To champion and conserve Tasmania’s walking culture and environment, and be the beer for all Launcestonians and a refuge for the like-minded.

As part of our journey, we are opening a brand new home, the ‘Du Cane Brewery & Dining Hall’ on Princes Square in the heart of Launceston. As well as bringing Tasmanian bushwalking culture to life, we aim to create a space that embraces creativity and diversity, is welcoming and inclusive and celebrates quality local food and beverage.

**Role Profile**

We are on the hunt for enthusiastic FOH and Bar staff with proven experience in working in a large scale, high turnover environment while delivering exceptional customer service.We need team players with excellent communication skills and a real customer-focused work ethic.

You will be the first friendly face our customers will see when they arrive and the last friendly face they see before they leave.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Confident presence behind the bar with the ability to effectively explain our range
- Accurately take food and drink orders
- Running food and drinks throughout the venue
- Build the Du Cane brand through beer sales and education and ensure the brand story is clearly communicated to visitors
- Ensure an exceptional and consistent level of service, delivering the key performance indicators and range of quality food, beverage, and entertainment offerings in a clean and professional environment
- Engage the hearts and minds of the local community creating a space that they feel ownership of the venue
- Stock management and control

**Ideal Background / Experience**:

- A minimum of 2 year experience in a strong hospitality environment is desired
- Minimum 1 year of high volume bartending
- Cocktail knowledge a plus but not necessary
- In**‐**depth knowledge of food and beverage
- Ability to confidently deliver food and drink via bridging and tray service
- Previous experience with online booking systems, POS (Lightspeed) strongly desirable
