About the role

Joining the Elders Launceston team as a Support Officer Logistics, you will be joining a close-knit team servicing the livestock and rural products needs of our local clients. This will be a varied role that will see you provide warehousing & logistics support to the rural products team, including delivering products to our clients. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Support Officer Logistics you will:

- Assist sales staff by picking, packing and delivering orders to clients
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the first point of contact for order deliveries/ pick-ups
- Perform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure good inwards and outwards are processed accurately according to the associated paperwork.
- Assist with stocktake and other rural products logistics support activities as needed

About you

To succeed in the role of a Support Officer Logistics, you have:

- A current Forklift Licence and medium rigid truck licence
- Knowledge of rural products, merchandise storage and handling practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal
