**About the opportunity**

The Compliance Officer works closely with the Sales Estimators, Sales Drafting, Operational teams and reports to the Operations Manager / Head of Sales Estimating and forms part of the Sales Estimating MJH team. The key focus of this role is to provide compliance support to the Sales Estimating department. More specifically, you will:

- Review all jobs coming into the department to ensure compliance prior to the release of our commitment to the customer
- Ensure the findings and learnings are shared across the Sales Estimating team
- Review sales drafting plans to ensure 100% regulatory compliance
- General duties as determined by the position including liaising with external suppliers (surveyors, councils, certifiers, bushfire consultants, engineers) as required

- Previous experience in a similar role
- A sound understanding of compliance/statutory regulations
- A passion for keeping abreast of regulation changes and improving knowledge
- Good computer an MS Office skills
- Outstanding organisational and planning abilities with the ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of the construction process
- A self-starter able to work autonomously

You will hold a current-driver’s license and have regular access to a reliable vehicle.
