Treasury’s Small and Family Business Division (SFBD) requires a Policy and Data Analyst in the Policy, Analysis and International (PAI) Team. The team provides small business policy advice to Government, works with a range of stakeholders to improve the suite of small business data used for policy analysis and contributes to international small business fora such as in APEC and the OECD. The role is being advertised at the APS 6 level. We also encourage high-performing APS 5s to apply.
- develop policy input considering the circumstances of small businesses, through partnering with other government agencies
- identify the appropriate stakeholders and confidently liaise with them in order to deliver our products and services
- develop high quality analysis across a range of topics
- develop high quality briefing for ministers, the executive and other stakeholders
- support international engagement including for APEC and the OECD
