**About the Role**

The Call Centre Operator will is responsible for responding to queries, providing assistance, and delivering excellent customer service experiences and support to customers within the NSW community. The role will operate on a rotating 4 week roster between the hours of 7am-7pm.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ability to deliver high quality customer service, through strong customer engagement in a high volume contact centre environment
- Handle customer enquiries promptly and courteously while maintaining confidentiality and using discretion in the performance of all duties.
- Identify, refer and assign non-standard and more complex enquiries to support teams for action and resolution.
- Maintaining currency in knowledge of policy, legislation and related business processes in order to efficiently and effectively respond to customer needs.
- Maintaining accurate data records in a customer management system to ensure that customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ability to confidently use multiple technology platforms and databases

**About you**
- 2-3 years customer service experience
- Previous Government experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Experience working in an office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service
