Due to continued growth and an ongoing demand for quality safety training, WesTrac is on the lookout for a knowledgeable **Safety Trainer** to join the L&D team based in South Guildford on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the **RTO Manager**, the successful applicant will be accountable for providing a high level of customer service for the delivery of all safety training activities for internal and external customers. Job duties include the delivery of internal safety training events, providing support to external safety training vendors, and providing education and solutions on Work Health Safety matters. As the Safety Trainer you will also be involved in material development and compliance obligations according to the needs of the RTO (50737).

**Location**: Perth based with some regional travel required

**Roster**:5:2 8 hours

**About You**:

- Previous experience delivering safety training
- Industry experience in and/or certificates relating to:

- Load Restraint
- Load and Unload Plant
- Working at Heights
- Fire Extinguisher
- Fire Warden
- Overhead Crane
- Mobile Plant
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Worksafe Assessor Accreditation (LF, WP, DG) would be highly regarded
- Ability to work within a team or autonomously when required
- Computer literacy (MS Suite)
