Support daily operations that help nourish communities

Based at our busy HubFoods site in Glendenning, you’ll play a key role in supporting our warehouse and food distribution teams. As Administration Assistant, you’ll be responsible for reception, records, finance support, and day-to-day administration that keeps our service running efficiently.

Your opportunity

As the Administration Assistant at HubFoods, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and a vital behind-the-scenes organiser, ensuring everything from deliveries to documentation is handled professionally and promptly.

With attention to detail and a welcoming manner, you will:
- Handle reception duties, including greeting visitors and managing phone enquiries- Support financial processes such as petty cash, payments, and reconciliations- Assist with bookings, orders, and documentation for operations- Maintain accurate administrative records and resident/client files- Raise maintenance requests and track follow-ups- Coordinate meetings, events, and workplace tours as needed- Support Workplace Health & Safety activities to ensure a clean, safe environment- and basic filing- Enter data into Anglicare’s systems (including Kronos and billing software)

What you’ll bring

You’re a highly organised and friendly professional who enjoys being part of a collaborative, hands-on environment.

You’ll need:
- 1-2 years’ experience in administration or customer service roles- Strong organisational and time management skills- Excellent verbal and written communication- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)- A customer service mindset with a helpful, team-focused attitude- Basic financial literacy for processing payments and reconciling petty cash

Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent (desirable)- Experience working in community services or warehouse environments (desirable)
