**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Safety Transformation Director, the Group Workers Compensation Manager helps our businesses thrive by driving the implementation of a step change across GWF workers' compensation management. The role will encourage the further development of our strategic workers' compensation plan that focuses on early injury/illness recovery and durable return to work. Compliance with legislated requirements and reducing financial liability on claims is vital to the success of this plan.
This role will be working closely with key stakeholders to review, enhance and improve GWF injury management, claims management and return to work processes and methodologies.

Key aspects of the role include (but not limited) to the following:

- Continuous development and delivery of coaching of frontline leaders and onsite RTW Coordinators to up skill and enable effective onsite management of work and non - work related injuries and illnesses
- Provide advice and support to sites on injury management, rehabilitation, return to work and workers compensation claims management
- Participate in claims reviews with insurers and actively manage estimated and premium impacting costs
- Continuous improvement of injury management, rehabilitation and return to work policies and procedures
- Minimum 10 years' experience as Injury Management, Return to Work/Workers' Compensation Manager in FMCG environment
- Proven and effective track record in injury management and return to work processes in large multi-site organisations over multi-sites with wide geographical dispersion
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative style with the ability to engage with others and build relationships
