Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney. Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney. Siemens as a D&C Contractor member will be responsible for the successful delivery of the design and construction elements of the project, and we are currently looking to hire System Interface Manager - Traction Power Systems to work within Siemens Mobility team, based in our Sydney office. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: Review Interface management deliverables such as: Interface Management Plan, Interface Matrix, Interface Control Document, Interface Solution register etc. Overall responsibility for the ICD/IDD preparation of Interface documents for traction power systems e.g. Rolling stock, Trackwork’s, Electrical Services, COMMS, Signalling & PSD, ISCS, MMS, CMS etc. Management of Interface/Integration between systems and Civil/M&E are conducted and requirement are captured during design and installation process. Coordinate all interface activities performed under the PS&DS works package and as defined in the Interface Plan Use your skills to move the world forward Strong experience in interfaces in traction power systems with local project experience. Prior electrification projects experience in the rail projects. Good experience in AC and DC Electrification systems. Adaptable to different working environments and customer working terms and conditions. Strong and effective communicator at all levels within the Business - and in front of new and existing customers.
