We are seeking innovative, contemporary-thinking professionals who can formulate the multi-disciplinary work streams that will inform and manage our diverse, high investment asset and property portfolio. The Manager, Assets and Infrastructure Governance, is responsible to manage this portfolio for QCS, that ranges from aging infrastructure, new construction and leasing frameworks. Working with various external and internal stakeholders, you will use your exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiating skills on a daily basis.As a key member of the Facilities and Assets team, you will need to:
- Maintain knowledge currency of QCS and wider governance accountabilities such as delegations for procurement, financial, asset management, and similar to ensure compliance with, or early correction of anomalies, as this relates to Command delivery activities
- Maintain trusted working relationships with stakeholders internal to QCS, partners to QCS (ie Housing / Public Works, Government Accommodation Office, Qld Health and similar) and external stakeholders of QCS Command deliverables and accountabilities
- Understand stakeholder complexities and sensitivities that contribute and frame QCS delivery responsibilities as these relate to all organisational areas up to Executive and higher-Government levels. Develop and maintain assurance mechanisms to collect, analyse and report on performance outcomes to support senior management decision making particularly in relation to corporate governance, resources management, business planning, non-financial performance, risk management, business continuity planning, and project management
- Management of Command's Policy and Practice library: currency of documents and frameworks (Policies, operational practice guides, work instructions, forms, templates, process maps and similar), ensure documents are accurate and easily understood; easy access for end users; clear documented process for improvements or changes; manage risk and mitigation strategies and register/s for practice implementation and change management
- Provide significant contribution to the creation and implementation of the Divisional Operational Plan, development of KPI's, and deployment of associated reporting and governance frameworks
