As Account Manager, you'll be the key connection between our manufacturing capabilities and our valued customers. You'll manage and grow important customer relationships, ensuring that technical requirements are understood, applied, and delivered on time. You'll be the go-to person for your portfolio of key customers, working closely with our manufacturing team ensuring quality delivery on time and on budget.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to be part of a solid manufacturing business that values customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key customers; be the primary contact for technical discussions and issue resolution; maintaining regular communication and conduct regular site visits.
- Account Reviews & Growth: Conduct regular reviews to assess manufacturing performance, identify new opportunities, and drive additional business within existing accounts to meet growth objectives.
- Quoting, Planning & System Management: Prepare accurate quotes and costings, provide production and schedule information to the manufacturing team, review pricing structures, establish and maintain accurate, complete and up to date records in our system.
- Internal Coordination: relay customer requirements internally, monitor and provide feedback to improve our manufacturing processes and capabilities, and collaborate closely with production, quality, logistics and administration team to ensure manufacturing and delivery processes are completed on time and on budget.
- Operations & Performance Tracking: Ensure smooth order processing and delivery, maintain compliance with quality standards and company procedures, facilitate regular customer reviews, and monitor key metrics including monthly sales performance and annual forecasts.

About You
- Proven Account Management Experience: Solid background in account management or customer-facing roles within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors.
- Trade Qualifications: Relevant trade background (mechanical, fabrication, or similar) highly regarded - this technical foundation will help you better understand customer requirements and communicate effectively with our production team.
- Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities with confidence in technical discussions, negotiations, and resolving manufacturing challenges.
- Team Player: Comfortable working with all team members across all areas of the business to ensure customer needs are met.
- Organisational & Prioritisation Skills: Able to manage multiple customers simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; understanding of internal processes and procedures, strong verbal, and written language skills, with ability to adapt communications appropriate to the audience. experience with job management systems and schedules; knowledge of standard Microsoft 365 essential.
- Self-Motivated & Adaptable: Thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment, takes ownership of customer outcomes, and builds genuine long-term partnerships.
