**Salary: $75,000 - $90,000.00**

At Nootz we have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated licenced Security Service Technician to join our team in Melbourne Reporting to the Service Manager, the primary focus of this role will be to carry out all day-to-day service, maintenance and/or installation/project activities for commercial buildings ensuring compliance with customer satisfaction, quality, and safety standards.

A driver’s license is necessary, and you will need to provide a favorable driving history report.

**To be successful in this role, you will have to**:

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience across the installation of CCTV, Alarm and Access Control systems
- Installation of small to large commercial projects.
- Basic to Intermediate IT and networking knowledge
- Ability to regularly travel to regional depots including overnight stays
- Proven ability to problem solve
- Diagnoses and fault finding of all security equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as work autonomously
- Ability to, and willingness to learn, continuously.

**The right person**:
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

The key to success in this role are strong systems, network and PC related skills plus a strong installation and commissioning ethic.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work on their own within a team.
