**Who are we looking for?**
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Business Services Officer to join Office of the Vice-President (Administration) and University Registrar, Administrative Division.
The Business Services Officer is responsible for the delivery of high-level administrative support to the University Registrar (in coordination with the Executive Assistant) and staff of the Office of Vice-President (Administration) and University Registrar

Administrative Division supports the governance and operations of the University, including planning and quality, facilities and services for students and staff. The Administrative Division is led by the Vice-President (Administration) and University Registrar.
**What you need to succeed**
You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about developing trusted working relationships and delivering high-level administrative support to a collegiate and high-performing team.
You will demonstrate:
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to a degree in a relevant discipline combined with subsequent relevant experience in an administrative support capacity.
- Demonstrated digital literacy including experience in a range of software packages including word processing and large-scale databases.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, and an ability to manage time and high volume tasks efficiently to meet tight deadlines within the context of competing demands.
- Ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and with agility in addressing unexpected challenges at short notice.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to work as part of a team, and to consult and liaise with a wide range of people from culturally diverse backgrounds in a professional manner.
- Effective written communication skills to accurately prepare a range of correspondence and documents, including the ability to handle sensitive information within a confidential environment.
