Overview

Join to apply for the Customer Service Officer role at Consulting Services.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer who can provide support to the daily operations of a large transport company at the Port of Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and demonstrate an ability to be flexible while completing adhoc administrative duties.

Responsibilities
  • To provide outstanding levels of administrative support to the daily operations of a large freighting company
  • Have high level of accuracy and attention to detail with data entry tasks
  • Demonstrate high level of organisation skills and managing priorities calmly
  • Have a high level understanding of clerical duties
  • Previous experience in Transport and Logistics an advantage but not essential
  • To present oneself in a positive and professional manner at all times
  • To aim to build strong and positive business relationships with customers and end users
  • Can create promotion signage for fund raising and special events each month
  • Set up board room for meetings, ensure all resources are available and take minutes where applicable
  • To co-operate by willingly participating and supporting team decisions, being a good team player
Qualifications And Skills
  • A certificate in Business Administration or at least 2 years admin experience required
  • High level of knowledge with all MS Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Be creative and able to create marketing signage
  • Highly organised
  • Resilient
Employment details
  • Port of Brisbane Location
  • Casual role offering full-time hours, with potential to lead to permanency
  • Full long term working rights required
  • Must have own vehicle and driver's license
  • $37.11 per hour casual rate
  • Monday to Friday - flexible start times (7:30am or 8:30am)
