An APS6 Internal communications officer is needed at a faced paced government department.

**Your new company**
This Department oversees the delivery of a diverse range of products and services, primarily focusing on providing support to the Australian Parliament. Within the Department, the Communication team is part of a small and dynamic branch, which provides internal communications support, Intranet and web content development and the creation of external marketing activities across a range of channels to engage target audiences.

**Your new role**
Your new role supports the deliverables of the Communications Section. The scope of the role may include strategic communications, campaign, public relations and media services, and internal communications management. An Internal Communications Officer undertakes identified communication service requirements of business areas using an account management model.

As a communications professional, an Internal Communication Officer undertakes moderately complex and/or sensitive work under limited direction, and utilises their communications expertise and judgement across a wide range of activities to inform staff, key stakeholders and the Australian community.
