The Communication Branch provides high quality advice and support through a range of enabling services, including ministerial announcements, speechwriting services, strategic communication services, media liaison, social media engagement, advertising campaigns and design and video services.

**Your new role**
The Communication Branch is seeking motivated and skilled staff at the APS6 level for our Internal Communication and Strategic Communication teams. These positions are responsible for assisting with the delivery and implementation of a wide range of communication activities including strategy and content development, issues management, liaison with internal staff, and senior stakeholders to support the Government’s Departments policy agenda.

As part of a small team that reports to the Director, Internal Communications and Creative Services, you will build strong relationships with our internal stakeholders to develop and deliver high quality internal communication services for the department.

Key duties include:

- Developing and implementing high quality internal communication services and products for the department’s Senior Executive, employee networks, line areas and general staff.
- Working closely with our Creative Services Design and Video teams to provide input into the production of visual assets for internal communication purposes.
- Collaborating with our stakeholders to develop engaging internal communications campaigns.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have a proactive approach in identifying opportunities to promote departmental policies and programs. You will be able to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a high-pressure communication environment due to your effective project and time management skills.

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into easily digestible key messages and digital formats tailored to target audiences.

You will be able to maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, including client areas and external suppliers, and will help to support and build on the existing strengths within our teams.
