The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) - Grade 2 for the Transition Care Program (TCP), works under the direct or indirect supervision and delegation of a TCP Allied Health Professional to provide clinically safe, evidence based, person centred care to the frail aged TCP clients in bed-based transition care. Working as an integral part of the TCP team, the AHA assists our clients to maximise their recovery and independence following the completion of their hospital in-patient stay.**About you**

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Completion of the Certificate 4 (Allied Health Assistant) from a registered training organisation including training modules in one or more of Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Podiatry or undergraduate Allied Health Professional training in one of these professions
- Completion of training modules as an AHA or undertaking of same as an Allied Health Professional student
- Professional student in one or more areas of Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, PodiatryVaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
