Amazing opportunity for a motivated and detailed-oriented Communications Officer to join a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a multi-year, flagship program for the agency and the Agriculture industry.

Working closely with the Communications Manager and cross-functional teams across the Department, the primary focus of this role is to ensure effective and consistent communication strategies are implemented across various channels.

This role will be initially offered as a 12 month labour hire contract with a 12 month extension option. Based in ACT or NSW, there is some flexibility for a hybrid working arrangement. Generous hourly rate negotiable commensurate with experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Support the identification and segmentation of key stakeholders and tailor communication plans to address their specific needs and concerns.
- **Digital Media Management**: Manage the program's digital presence, including social media platforms and the program website, by creating and curating relevant content that showcases the transformation journey and highlights key achievements.
- **Event Coordination**:Assist in planning, organising and logistics of virtual and in-person events, workshops, and town hall meetings related to the digital transformation program.
- **Communication Analytics**:Analyse communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and prepare reports and provide insights on performance.
- **Content Management**: Collaborate with SMEs and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of communication materials and updates to various channels.
- **Collaboration and Support**:Work closely with cross-functional teams, product managers, and external partners to gather information and insights for communication purposes.

**What we're seeking**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and accessible manner.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite, content management systems, and social media platforms.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all communication materials.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with communication analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
- Previous experience in event planning and coordination is beneficial.
- Enthusiasm for digital transformation and technology trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field highly regarded.
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance
