We are seeking an experienced Program Officer to support the Program Director and Project Managers in the preparation of the program and project artefacts. Excellent opportunity to work with a government organisation. You will assist with marketing, media and communications and also work on a range of venture capital programs and innovative projects. The role provides an excellent opportunity to assist in the implementation of significant government innovation policies, including working collaboratively with other agencies, stakeholder organisations and businesses.

The Team is fast paced with a high volume of work which involves managing multiple priorities with persistent workflows. We are looking for people able to work in a collaborative way.

**The successful applicant will**:

- Assist with marketing, media and communications, including the program website and case study development.
- Contribute towards the delivery of a broad range of venture capital programs.
- Work with key internal and external stakeholders on complex issues relating to the administration of venture capital programs.
- Ensure program compliance with legislative, financial and administrative frameworks.
- Liaise with program fund managers on fund requests and compliance with program guidelines and directions.
- Assess committee papers to ensure they meet legislative requirements and guidelines.
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment while managing competing priorities.
- Has the ability to contribute towards achieving program and policy outcomes within the required timeframe.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Is able to critically analyse information and contribute towards solving problems, including understanding legislative requirements.
- Has expertise in one or more of the following:

- o Law/accounting/finance
- o Program and contract management.
- o Communications and stakeholder engagement
