Amazing opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Communications Manager to lead the strategic development and execution of communication initiatives on a large-scale digital transformation program. This is a multi-year, flagship program for the agency and the Agriculture industry.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a positive narrative around the digital transformation journey, ensuring alignment, engagement, and transparency both internally and externally.

This role will be initially offered as a 12 month labour hire contract with a 12 month extension option. Based in ACT, NSW or VIC, there is some flexibility for a hybrid working arrangement. Generous daily rate negotiable commensurate with experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Communication Strategy Development**: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that supports the program's goals and objectives for both internal and external stakeholders.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Identify and analyse key stakeholders, both internal and external, and develop tailored communication plans to address their needs and concerns.
- **Content Creation and Management**: Create compelling, accurate, and clear content for a variety of communication channels, including internal newsletters, executive briefings, presentations, press releases, and social media platforms.
- **Change Communication**: Craft targeted communication materials that help employees understand and embrace changes brought about by the digital transformation.
- **Measurement and Reporting**: Define objectives and key results (OKR's) to assess the impact and effectiveness of communication initiatives.
- **Collaboration and Leadership**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SES, Business, IT teams, HR, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment and consistency of messaging. Lead and mentor a Communications Officer, to execute communication plans and initiatives effectively.

- Strong understanding of change management and communications principles and the ability to integrate them into communication strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that achieve measurable results.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance
