My client (One of the region's largest local government organisations) is seeking for a Procurement Support Officer.
This position will provide high-level procurement support to the Asset Maintenance department to ensure the effective, consistent and cost-efficient procurement of goods and services in accordance with the Council’s procurement policies, strategies and frameworks.
To be suitable for this role, you must provide technical support to the Asset Maintenance teams on all matters relating to the procurement of goods and services, prepare reports for auditing to ensure compliance with the Council's procurement policies and directives, Undertake all system-related procurement functions for the Asset Maintenance department including raising purchase orders, managing purchase order amendments, receipt of goods and processing invoices, contribute to a positive team environment in order to achieve high performance, continuous improvement and customer-focused culture, working knowledge of procurement practices and procedures, high-speed data entry, strong time management skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
- Certificate III in Business (desirable)
- Must have a Current C-class driver's licence
- Must be able to provide 2x Reference Checks
- Must be able to pass a Criminal History Check.
