**Switchboard Operator** **_ Permanent Part-Time Opportunities_** **Greenslopes Private Hospital** is seeking a professional and customer focused **Switchboard** **Operator** to join their administration team **About the Role** As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive customer focused service as the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. This will include, but is not limited to, providing administrative support to the relevant administrative departments, and providing timely and accurate information in response to queries by patients, visitors, and other customers. This position works on a varied 24/7 rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts. **About You** To succeed in this role, you will exercise proper courtesy and consideration when dealing with customers and staff, while demonstrating honesty, integrity and ethics at all times. You will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service for all patients, visitors and Doctors. You will also demonstrate: - Previous experience in a busy switchboard or call centre environment - Advanced skills in enunciation, articulation and telephone etiquette - Effective listening skills and good attention to detail - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook - Problem solving and conflict resolution skills **Remuneration** On offer is a base hourly rate of $27.25 - $29.83 + superannuation based on experience, exclusive of penalties or allowances. **About Ramsay** Greenslopes Private Hospital is operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.
