About the Role
Perform general administrative duties to contribute to the effective daily operations of the switchboard department whilst also participating and contributing to quality improvement processes.
Provide a high-level quality customer service; respond professionally to all calls ensuring that the caller is transferred or redirected correctly and in a timely manner.
Prioritise workload effectively and perform duties responsibly in the absence of supervision.
Attend and participate in workplace meetings and disseminate information within the area and throughout the hospital.
