Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing financial transactions.
2. Perform bank statement reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
3. Generate comprehensive financial reports to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes.
4. Utilize bookkeeping software, specifically Xero, proficiently to record and manage financial information.
5. Work independently to complete assigned tasks and meet critical deadlines.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently manage and maintain financial documentation.
- Profound knowledge of accounting principles to effectively interpret and analyze financial data.
- Proficiency in using bookkeeping software, particularly Xero, to streamline financial processes.

Employment type: a Casual position 3-5 days a week (7.5 per day)

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- South Melbourne, VIC 3205: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)
