**About the Role**

3M are currently recruiting for an experienced Product/Sales Analyst to join their Consumer Business Group - based at the North Ryde head office. You will be responsible for providing extensive analysis and reporting to support the business needs.

**Your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Developing, managing, and executing data analytics for specific channels. Helping to ensure strategy plans drive value in alignment with the business priorities
- Analysing the business needs, providing insights, standardising key metrics, and making recommendations to drive sales growth
- Identifying and analysing trends based on the customer, category, and market data to determine business opportunities for the channel
- Delivering consumer and competitive insights, including category data analysis, planograms, assortment, and merchandising recommendations to the customer to help support business strategies & tactics
- Providing framework for consistent promotional analysis for key programs to include selling highlights, price point effectiveness and recommendations for improvement going forward
- Supplying category assistance with Planograms, Range Review Analysis, Promotional analysis and other Ad-hoc reporting
- Analysis and reporting on Category and Market data (share gains/losses)
- Improving business results by identifying problems, finding opportunities, and developing solutions within the business analysis process
- Being the expert on the customers strategy including customer shopper profiles and data to optimise channel marketing programs
- Bringing technical knowledge and skills with tools such as Power BI, POG Space Planner, Excel.
- Building and maintaining core Channel Dashboards
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, or experience within a product/Sales Analyst role
- Experience within an FMCG organization, or dealing with Consumer goods
- Ability to **take ownership and provide accurate data**:

- Salesforce experience is a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail & highly analytical, with ability to back up your findings
- Ability to work autonomously
