- support the recruitment and onboarding function, including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, preparing documentation, and coordinating induction sessions
- engage with internal and external stakeholders as the first point of contact, providing an exceptional experience through clear, consistent and helpful guidance
- maintain employee records, update HR systems, and provide administrative assistance across people and culture functions

**Position details**
- The People and Culture Administration Officer plays an important role in supporting the delivery of people and culture functions across the commission. The role contributes to the efficient operation of processes by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, record keeping, and other day-to-day activities that support staff across the organisation.
- This is a great entry-level opportunity to build skills in HR administration while working in a collaborative and supportive team. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of people and culture activities, develop confidence working with systems and processes, and contribute to improving the employee experience.

**This is a fixed term position for 6 months. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.**

**About us**
- The Essential Services Commission is Victoria's independent economic regulator of essential services supplied by a range of industries. The commission's functions include:

- making regulatory decisions with respect to prescribed industries (including price determinations, licensing, customer protection and access disputes).
- undertaking reviews and providing advice to Ministers on a range of economic and regulatory matters.
- administering the Victorian Energy Upgrades program.
