The Data Migration Lead reports directly to the Technical delivery manager and is accountable for the completion of all data extract, transformation and quality monitoring activities. These are primarily targeted on the cutover data migration objects/activities.

1.1 Role
- Managing the delivery of tasks for the Data Technical Resource(s)/Analyst(s)
- Initial escalation point for the resolution of issues, risks and defects raised by the Data Technical Resource(s)/Analyst(s).

1.2 Responsibility
- Responsible for the day to administration, task assignment and management of technical team.
- Responsible for the reporting and management of the overall data transformation execution status.
- Accountable for the reporting on the delivery of the following technical documents that are delivered by the Data Technical Resources/Analysts:

- Source to Target Mapping.
- Value Mapping.
- Data Object Architecture/Conversion Specifications.
- Construction/Target Template Format (including handover/support to business team).
- High Level Data Conversion Approach for each object in scope.
- Executed Test Scripts for Technical Reconciliation.
- Data execution statistics.
- Ensure that defects are accurately identified and logged.
- Ensure that issues and risks are identified and logged.

1.3 Key Activities
- Provide team leadership and perform day to day technical data delivery team administration activities in line with project and other requirements.
- Provide statistics/analysis and comment on the trial conversion and cutover status reports.
- Provide analysis and comment on the real-time data quality metrics and provide feedback to the projects on necessary actions and likely impacts of data quality issues. Where appropriate, raise defects/risks/issues based on this reporting.
- Ensure that data quality reports are being executed and actioned.
