Migration Agent/Immigration Lawyer
This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of the Australian immigration advisory profession as TG Migration Solutions becomes a national Australian visa and immigration advisory firm.
TG Migration Solutions is a collaboration between Thomson Geer and Migration Solutions. Migration Solutions was founded in 2001 and Thomson Geer is a major Australian corporate law firm.
TG Migration Solutions understands the value and importance of training and professional development, and retaining all immigration work onshore, rather than sending migration and visa work offshore for processing.
Due to this commitment it allows immigration administrators, new migration agents and immigration lawyers (including anyone completing the Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice) to be involved with and experience all aspects of the visa and immigration application process. This enables our team to gain a fundamental understanding and experience in all aspects of Australian visa and immigration application preparation ensuring that everyone across the business has access to learn and develop critical skills and a broad understanding of all areas of the Australian immigration profession.
This opportunity and exposure is extremely valuable and important for anyone seeking a career in the immigration profession and an opportunity to develop and progress to a more senior role supervising and/or managing others and being able to provide immigration advice and assistance across multiple classes and visa subclasses.
While TG Migration Solutions is primarily focused on employer sponsored visa and corporate migration applications allowing businesses, government and industry to address current and future workforce needs, we also provide advice, support and assistance in a range of other areas, including sports visas (international athletes, high performance coaching staff and administrative support on large sporting events in Australia), training visas, partner and family visas, general skilled migration applications and skills assessments, schedule 3 matters, health waivers, cancellations, PIC4020 concerns, ART matters and Ministerial Intervention applications.
Due to this diversity, anyone joining the team will not only gain vast experience in employer sponsored and corporate migration work, you will also gain training, development and mentoring opportunities across most areas of the Australian migration program.
Whilst we understand that some people prefer to focus on employer sponsored and corporate visas and immigration work, working as part of the TG Migration Solutions team, you will have an opportunity to work and learn about a broad range of visa and immigration matters that you are unlikely to see in many other immigration businesses.
Due to our growth and expansion, in addition to our leading migration reform initiatives around the 407 training visa pilot with the South Australian Government, the development of a hybrid (GSM and Employer Nominated) visa program, recommending changes to the GSM program to address significant underutilisation of skilled migrants and evidence based research supporting regional immigration reform with Global Adelaide (which includes the development of a new distributional methodology to measure the economic benefit of regional migration reform), you will not find a more dynamic and exciting opportunity to be at the cutting edge of Australian immigration, including the opportunity to shape the future of the Australian immigration program. Other initiatives include the development and implementation of our own proprietary operating system.
We have a strong vision and commitment to the ongoing training and professional development of everyone within the team, and to this end, we are also seeking to fill a national Migration Manager role, responsible for training and professional development, including the development of an internal CPD training program.
As part of our expansion and national growth, TG Migration Solutions are looking to fill a number of key roles across our teams in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney (and Perth in early 2026).
Immigration Advisor positions are suited to registered migration agents or immigration lawyers with minimum 3 years of experience working on corporate and employer sponsored visas.
Immigration manager roles (including a national training manager role) are unique and require someone who has significant visa and immigration experience across all major areas (employer sponsored, corporate migration, sports visas, family visas, GSM, schedule 3, health waivers, PIC4020, cancellations, ART and Ministerial Intervention submissions).
We are also looking to fill a number of immigration administrative roles across all locations, supporting our team of migration agents and immigration lawyers. These roles are ideally suited to anyone currently enrolled or who has recently completed the Graduate Diploma in Migration Law and Practice.
