Our Hunter Central Coast team is currently seeking to appoint an ongoing **Principal Project Officer (PPO)**. This is an opportunity for someone with a passion for achieving biodiversity conservation outcomes through the NSW planning framework. As a team member you will be part of a very experienced team, expanding your skill base and capabilities while leading assessments for a diverse range of projects including strategic planning proposals, state significant development and infrastructure project assessments. This will also include, in some cases, managing a small team to collaboratively deliver core project and programs works.

**About You**

Additionally, the role requires sound judgement in referring sensitive or complex issues to the Senior Team Leader and Director, who may escalate them to the Executive as needed. You will be responsible for supervising a team and managing their performance through clear goals and performance agreements.
