- **About this Role**_

Are you a high-performing salesperson from the waste management industry (preferred but not required) or other industry? Are you tired of using your talents to build someone else’s business?

We’re looking to build our next waste management company in Adelaide. As an accomplished salesperson with an outstanding track-record, the General Manager of Sales will be instrumental in delivering top-line revenue growth.

**Remuneration**

**Salary**: $100,000 (minimum) + car allowance (negotiable) + generous equity share plan

**Responsibilities**
- Sales & Business Development_
- Identify, gather and target leads.
- Execute the sales process through to close.
- Act as a primary relationship owner for ongoing customers.
- General activities to maintain and grow revenue.
- Develop and implement growth strategies.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Other_
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the Company from time to time.

**Skills & Experience**
- Essential:_
- Proven track-record with all aspects of selling (sourcing leads, prospecting and signing).
- High level of self-organisation, motivation and independence.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and develop effective working relationships especially with customers.
- Desirable:_
- Experience or knowledge of the waste management sector.

**Duties**:

- Sales & Business Development_
- Maintain and grow revenue.
- Develop and implement growth strategies.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Operations_
- Oversee daily business operations.
- Ensure operations are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant laws.
- Identify and execute operational efficiencies.
- Oversee support functions of the business.
- Business Planning & Control_
- Create and manage all facets of the Company’s planning, budgeting and forecasting cycle.
- Report on all facets of business performance and present to management and the Board.
- Be accountable for the financial and operating performance of the business.
- Build and develop business procedures to ensure corporate governance and strong internal control.
- People Management & Leadership_
- Lead, train and manage staff.
- Plan human resources and recruit employees.
- Evaluate and manage employee performance and productivity.
- Other_
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the Company from time to time.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (preferred)
